Spain chesnut-fed pork is famous for its unique rearing method and high quality meat. The pigs are fed with chestnuts and grains while growing and allowed to roam freely in a grazing environment, which makes their meat marbled, tender, juicy, and soft with a light of chestnut aroma. Also, chestnut-feeding ensures the meat to have higher unsaturated fatty acids than regular pigs, that is beneficial for health.
